you won’t have time for what is needed.

Routine runs the train off the track,
but carelessly keeps on going.

You can organize your life into parts,
and you can organize breath into verses

None of this will help you breathe.
None will live a better life for you.

Many know they are going the wrong way,
but won’t stop till they find another wrong way.

Even this, here, they will call it wisdom,
but the knowledge of what is not gives no joy,
no less than the knowledge of what is.

Those are only the words that point here and there,
what is and what is not:
the wise man only remains silent,
only to listen to the beloved as she sings.
